Private daycare
The Nanny Agency's daycare arrangements work as follows:
A private nanny looks after two children at a time in the families' homes. The childcare provider comes to your home or the other family's home, where she cares for both children. Typically, the arrangement involves care taking place in one family's home, with a weekly rotation to the other family's home.
The arrangement is full-time, and she cares for the children from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM / 4:00 PM.
This program operates under the Municipality of Copenhagen, where you receive a subsidy of 7,022 DKK per month to cover the private caregiver's monthly salary.
You will pay the caregiver the full salary, and then you will receive the subsidy in return.
Our nanny's salary varies based on experience and age, ranging from 12,000 to 13,500 DKK per month per child.
In addition to this, food and other expenses such as transportation are shared with the other family. You should estimate around 600 DKK per month for this, but you can also arrange to provide your child's packed lunch every day.
We maintain ongoing communication with the caregiver and you, ensuring a productive collaboration between all parties.
To facilitate this contract, we would charge a agency fee of 10,000 DKK including tax. This fee applies regardless of whether we have a pre-matched nanny ready for your family or if we need to recruit a new one.
We would invoice half of the fee at the beginning, and the remaining half after the caregiving has been working for a month.
The agency fee includes the following:
Coordination of meetings between the private caregiver and the other family
Contract management (Our contracts are for 6 months)
Participation in playgroups with other full-time nannies
Double Bugaboo stroller for the caregiver
Annual passes to the Zoo, Experimentarium, and 1 monthly visit to Little House
Private rhythmic class every week
